Compass International media-trained over 150 spokespeople of a major entertainment company -- from the President to the design engineers -- in preparation for the grand opening of a new division. Working over the course of a year, Compass International provided a message structure for media interviews, coached the key spokespeople, and conducted media awareness seminars for employees hosting the 2,400 global media representatives who reported on this event. Media coverage was overwhelmingly positive. The spokespeople were well-versed in their messages, which they delivered with confidence and enthusiasm. CEO Leadership Branding Compass International worked closely with the CEO of a technical software company preparing for an IPO. We helped create the CEO's personal leadership brand and coached him to embody this brand consistently in investor conference presentations and other public communications. By the time the IPO was launched, this CEO presented a credible, confident, and authentic demeanor in the investor presentations and media interviews. Employee Communications When this financial services company was acquired, Compass International supported the executive team in announcing lay-offs to employees. We helped the president and division heads design an appropriately informative and open communication strategy. We coached the executives in their presentations before the announcement of layoffs to employees. We trained the Human Resources team to handle the many questions flowing into the department hotline. Feedback from employees noted that the communications component of the acquisition was handled with sensitivity and caring. Product Launches: Media and Presentation Training Compass International continues to support this software client through numerous product launches. We help the product teams to refine and sharpen their messages. We also train key spokespeople in both media and presentation skills to prepare for the launch. When these speakers interact with the media and analysts, they report a far greater confidence in their ability to lead the discussion, highlight the benefits of their product, and handle challenging questions.
